In the year of 2312, a disease came into America from a foreign country. The disease was immune to animals of every kind. By 2325, it had wiped out all of North America and the sickness had traveled to Australia and South America. Country by country, continent by continent the disease had cleared each of every human.
In 2364, no humans were left on planet earth. The animals started living the life that they were before humans were created, living wild with no one to hunt them or interfere with their environment. Animals of all kinds, everywhere you look.

Rasheed Rah walked along the edge of the great wall. It was early in the morning, the tiger was on a hunt. There was a light mist in the air that mad seeing things at a distance little difficult. The poor vision was helpful is would make him more difficult to see. His movements were silent as he padded along the stone. He knew this wasn’t the absolute best place to go hunting and he should have known better, he wasn’t having any luck. His tail flicked back and forth in irritation at his own foolishness but there was another reason he had decided against hunting in the jungle like he usually did. Lately he’d felt lonesome for the first time in his entire life. It was extremely out of character for him, he usually wanted to be left alone. Suddenly there was a slight movement in the mist ahead. The massive cat crouched down to the ground and his rounded ears focused right ahead, listening to try and see if the creature ahead was food. If it was this would be easy. There would be no place for the prey to go, it could run but Rasheed was fast and it wouldn’t leave the wall unless it wanted to fall to it’s death. A low growl rumbled in his chest, the wind was blowing the wrong way and he couldn’t pick up the animal’s scent to detect what exactly it was. He couldn’t go chasing after it unless he knew what he was getting himself into.

x.the slender, silver body crept through the foggy mist, down the bridge that was overgrown with tiny plants and trees. she could feel the long, green vines under her paws. her tongue slipped out of her mouth automatically. it was much hotter here than the mountains, especially because of the humid fog. she longed for the mountain's cool breezes and snow. sari slowed down as the walkway got steeper, trying not to lose her footing in the thick fog. scents drifted into her nostrils as a wind blew by, two scents that were closer than the others. deer, she thought, and another predator. feline, maybe? she shrugged and slowed her pace. she wasn't in any hurry to meet this animal, whatever it is. sari would give it time to kill the deer before she passed them. her honey colored eyes drifted over the side of the bridge, and into the forest below. the calls and caws of the birds were so unfamiliar...well, at least only a few unfamiliar. there were a couple other unknown scents and sounds that came from below that sarenti had no clue of, also. maybe i should come down here more.... she guessed. this was her third time coming down here in her life. her honey hues drifted back to the walkway. a silhouette stood a good ways away. it looked back from time to time as it walked toward her. the wind was blowing toward her, so the deer would not catch her scent. the leopard stopped, waiting for the animal to appear any second.

Rasheed was still struggling to pick up the scent of whatever was moving up ahead. The wind changed coarse momentarily and he picked up the scent of the deer along with that of another feline....not a tiger...what was it then?. His body became tense as he finally saw the deer moving in the fog. Silently he lept onto the ledge of the wall and crept closer until he was within range. Now he could tell there were two and he could see them more clearly as he got closer. A moment later they caught the tigers scent and then saw his figure, they tried to make a break for it but the hunter jumped from the ledge and landed on the closest one. Only a moment past before the animal was dead. Now before he could enjoy his meal he had to investigate the other scent.
He left his kill and padded a small distance farther down the wall. He could see a figure in the fog and growled to himself, not loud enough for the stranger to hear. He wasn't the most friendly animal in the world but he was alright when it came to his fellow felines. Before getting any closer he decided to speak "Hello" he said then waited for the mysterious animal to reply.

x.the snow leopard narrowed her eyes, trying to peer through the fog as it thickened. she lost sight of the silhouette that she thought was a deer. after a moment, she heard hooves thundering too close to her, surprising her. she gasped, trying not to yowl at the surprise, and flattened herself as a figure launched itself over sari. the silver feline stood up immediately, glancing back at a deer running away from her. she whipped her head back to see if any other deer were coming. had the tiger made his kill? she thought she smelled fresh blood, it was hard to tell in this thick fog. she heard a low voice, not a clear as most conversations that she's had with other animals. she made out to words, 'hello'. "hello..." she returned the greeting to the feline. she still didn't know what feline he was, all she knew was that he was feline. the leopard sat down on the hard stone, wrapping her tail around her front paws. she bent her head down to lick her ruffled chest, from the earlier encounter with the deer.
